This is the updated version of Win (old version).
I got overboard with the folds of his shirt, but it's not that easy to draw the folds of a long shirt convincingly. Somehow I have the feeling that he looks like an Asian boy. I don't know why.

About him:
He's the prime example for easygoingness, enthusiasm and positive thinking and doesn't seem to worry about anything and never takes offence at what people say (he even laughs with them if they mock him). He knows Kai since they attended kindergarten; they're best friends ‒ actually Win is the best medicine for Kai's depressive episodes, because he always manages to share his happy attitude with him. Even if Win isn't the brightest or the most eloquent ‒ most of the time he doesn't even know what Kai is talking about ‒ he's always around and listens to his problems and worries and tries to respond in his simple ways what often dissolves the overly complex problems that pile up in Kai's head. Win's thoughts are usually all over the place, but he can be extremely accurate and responsible if someone entrusts him with an important task. In that case he uses all his concentration to focus on the task ‒ and usually bumps into everything else on his way. He's extremely chatty and interested in weird stuff, but can keep secrets very well and is often seen with a cup of instant noodles (virtually the only thing he ever eats).

Life:
He lives with his unemployed father Karl in a small apartment. His younger brother lives with his mother who got divorced from Karl several years ago. Win's family is extremely poor and his father cannot find the motivation to get a job or to do anything useful at all. If Karl is at home (what doesn't happen very often) he sleeps the whole day and only gets up to meet his equally unmotivated friends in bars. On the outside, Win seems to always be happy and to like school, but in privacy he's ashamed of his dysfunctional family and wants to spend as little time at home as possible (that's why he's always out with friends). He uses much of the little money he has to buy some presentable clothes to wear at school, because he can get jealous of the stuff Kai is able to afford ‒ he wears all the other ugly and old stuff at home only. That's why he hasn't enough money to buy some good food and always eats instant noodles or soups. Once a month Win's little brother Jim is allowed to spend a weekend with him and his father, but Karl isn't interested in him or even gets aggressive if Jim troubles him. That's why Win takes care of his little brother. He really enjoys their time together, but can get very sad when he sees how badly Jim is treated. One day all will be better. One day they will be rich ‒ that's what Win always tells him, but ironically in this case he isn't able to think positively enough to actually believe in it.
