About him:
Because most of his colleagues don't even know how to program their television, he's responsible for everything with a screen attached to it. He teaches computer science and is the administrator of the school network. His teaching style is characterized by strict schedules, sprawling video presentations with overly theoretical concepts and dry jokes nobody gets. He hates gossip and being interrupted and he can be very resolute – despite of his small body size. Students often refer to him as Herr Kauzig (Mr. Odd/Dotty) instead of Kautsky. He loves meaningful conversations and can easily be tricked into telling tales about his profession, totally forgetting that he was about to punish chatty students or to drink his coffee (that's why it's usually cold). He may seem strict and close minded, but can be very candid and helpful if people face problems. He's very rational and acts demurely around others, but he likes to play little tricks on people and doesn't take things as seriously as it may seem.
Life:
He was born in the Czech Republic and later moved to Germany to study computer science. He specialized in evolutionary systems, artificial intelligence and data storage systems. He was part of the team that developed face recognition software for the former Belgian Intelligent Data Research Company (idʀ)* that later created the social network Hydre*. He quitted his job after structural changes of the company. Now he works as a teacher for computer science at a German high school.
Projects:
As an employee at idʀ he worked on the artificial intelligence of Hydre's data storage system and is one of the developers of Méduse*, a surveillance system that collects data worldwide and is able to penetrate almost every security protocol by using the resources of secretly infected private computers. Emil quitted his job after Altera* took control over idʀ, but he still possesses some of the pass codes for the system and knows some of its weak spots that haven't been fixed yet.

Staatliche Erweiterte Schule Ansfurt (Extended Public School Ansfurt), also Kaltesch Schule Ansfurt (Kaltesch School Ansfurt) – a German high school located in Ansfurt. It's dedicated to the Habsburg-Muscovite nobleman and philosopher Wilhelm Andrej Kaltesch who was executed because of his opposition to the absolutist Catholic Church and the rule of Emperor Ferdinand II.
